Privacy Policy

Darkslide is a camera app for iPhone published by Idealink Yazılım Tel. Bilg. Danş. Hizm. San. Tic. Ltd. Şti. (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what happens to information when you use the Darkslide app and this website.

1. Who is responsible

Idealink Yazılım Tel. Bilg. Danş. Hizm. San. Tic. Ltd. Şti., Güzeloba Mah. 2272 Sk. No: 116, 07230 Muratpaşa/Antalya, Türkiye, is responsible for this policy and, where data protection law applies, is the controller of the limited personal data described in section 7. 2. What the app uses on your iPhone

Darkslide asks iOS for access only when it needs it. Everything below is processed on your iPhone and is never sent to us.

Darkslide does not use your location and does not write location data into photos. It does not access your contacts, your existing photos, or your device's advertising identifier.

3. What is stored on your iPhone

The photos and clips you take, their original negatives, your favourites and settings, and whether you own Darkslide Pro are stored in the app's private storage on your iPhone. We cannot access them. Deleting the app deletes them from your iPhone; copies already saved to your Photos library, and any iCloud copies (section 4), are not affected.

4. iCloud sync (optional, off by default)

If you turn on Sync negatives to iCloud, your negatives are stored in your private iCloud database using Apple's CloudKit service. Only your Apple Account can read that database; we cannot. Apple stores this data under the Apple Privacy Policy. You can turn sync off in the app's Settings at any time. Deleting a negative in the app while sync is on also deletes its iCloud copy, and you can remove all of Darkslide's iCloud data from the iCloud storage settings on your iPhone.

5. Purchases

Darkslide Pro is sold by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles payment and your Apple Account; we do not receive your name, email address or payment details. The app receives a transaction record signed by Apple that confirms your purchase and keeps it on your iPhone. Apple processes purchases under its own terms and privacy policy.

6. Information Apple may give us

Apple provides developers with App Store sales reports and, only if you chose to share analytics with app developers in iOS, aggregated usage statistics and crash reports. This information does not identify you, and we use it only to fix problems and improve the app. You can change this choice in the iPhone Settings app under Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements.

7. When you contact us

If you email us, we receive your email address and what you write, including any attachments. We use this only to answer you and handle your request — our legitimate interest, or a step you asked for — and keep it only as long as needed for that, unless the law requires us to keep it longer. We do not add you to any mailing list. Our email service provider, Google Workspace (Google LLC, United States), stores these messages on our behalf and may store them outside your country; where the law requires, such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards.

8. This website

This website uses no cookies, no analytics, no tracking and no content from third parties; its fonts and images are served from this site. The site is hosted by Vercel (Vercel, Inc., United States), which processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type in server logs on our behalf, to deliver the pages and protect them from abuse — our legitimate interest. The logs are kept only for the host's standard, short retention period, are not combined with other data, and are not used to identify you. The host may process them outside your country, under the same safeguards as described in section 7. When you open this policy from the app's Settings, the page is loaded the same way.

9. What we never do

• Sell or share personal information, including as “selling” and “sharing” are defined in California law.
• Show ads, build profiles, or make automated decisions about you.
• Track you across other companies' apps and websites.

10. Children

Darkslide is suitable for all ages and collects no personal data from anyone, including children. If you believe a child has emailed us, contact us and we will delete the message.

11. Your rights

Depending on where you live — for example under the EU and UK GDPR, Türkiye's Law No. 6698 (KVKK), South Korea's Personal Information Protection Act, Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information, or the California Consumer Privacy Act — you may have the right to ask for access to, correction, deletion or restriction of your personal data, to object to its processing, to receive it in a portable form, and to withdraw consent. Because the only personal data we may hold is email you send us, most requests will concern those messages. Data stored in iCloud or with the App Store is held by Apple; manage it through your Apple Account.

To make a request, email info@idealink.us. Requests are free of charge. We will answer within the time the applicable law requires and will not treat you differently for using your rights. You also have the right to complain to the data protection authority where you live.

12. Security

Darkslide has no servers and no accounts, so there is no database of users to breach. Data in the app is protected by the security of iOS on your device, and iCloud data by Apple. Emails you send us are accessible only to the people who answer them.

13. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will publish the new version on this page with a new effective date. If a change significantly affects how your information is handled, we will also mention it in the release notes of the app update that introduces it.

14. Languages

This policy is available in English, Korean, Japanese and Turkish. If the versions differ, the English version applies, unless the law of your country requires otherwise.
