How do I restore Darkslide Pro on a new iPhone?
Sign in with the Apple Account you bought it with, open Darkslide, tap the gear icon for Settings, then Darkslide Pro › Restore purchases. Darkslide Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.
Where are my photos saved?
Each photo and clip is saved to your Photos library as you take it. Darkslide also keeps the photo and its original negative in its own Vault, so you can reprint it with another film later.
Will I lose anything if I delete the app?
Photos and clips already in your Photos library stay there. The Vault — your negatives — is stored inside the app and is deleted with it, unless you turned on Settings › iCloud › Sync negatives to iCloud beforehand. With sync on, open the app with an internet connection and let it finish syncing before you delete it. We cannot recover a Vault for you, because we never receive a copy.
Why is there no shutter sound?
The default Silent mode takes a full-resolution frame without a sound. If you want the shutter sound, choose Settings › Capture › Live Photo (shutter sound). Please respect the people you photograph and local rules about shutter sounds and photography.
My clip has no sound.
Check that Settings › Capture › Record sound in clips is on in Darkslide, and that microphone access is allowed in the iPhone Settings app under Darkslide › Microphone (on iOS 18 and later, look under Apps).
The viewfinder is black.
Allow camera access in the iPhone Settings app under Darkslide › Camera (on iOS 18 and later, look under Apps). If it is already allowed, close other apps that use the camera and open Darkslide again.
How do I get a refund?
Purchases are made with Apple, and only Apple can issue refunds. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
How do I delete my data?
Delete photos from the Vault in the app, or delete the app to remove everything it stored on your iPhone. If you used iCloud sync, you can also remove Darkslide's iCloud data from the iCloud storage settings on your iPhone. Apart from emails you have sent us, we hold no data about you; write to us if you want those deleted. See the Privacy Policy.
