Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use Darkslide, the camera app for iPhone published by Idealink Yazılım Tel. Bilg. Danş. Hizm. San. Tic. Ltd. Şti. (“we”, “us”), and when you buy Darkslide Pro. By downloading or using Darkslide you agree to them. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer protection laws of the country where you live.

1. Your licence to use Darkslide

Darkslide is licensed to you, not sold, under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Apple EULA”). These terms add to the Apple EULA. If they conflict, the Apple EULA applies to the licence itself, and these terms apply to everything else.

2. What Darkslide is

Darkslide simulates the look of film photography digitally. Every film look is our own creation, and film names describe a style. Darkslide is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any maker of film, cameras or instant cameras. Other companies' trademarks belong to their respective owners. How a photo looks depends on your device, the light and the scene.

3. Your photos and clips

Everything you create with Darkslide belongs to you. We never receive your photos or clips, and these terms give us no rights to them.

You are responsible for what you photograph, film and share. Respect other people's privacy and rights, get consent where the law or common decency requires it, and follow the rules of the places you visit — including local laws and customs about photographing people and about camera shutter sounds. Darkslide's default capture mode is silent; the Live Photo mode in Settings plays the system shutter sound. Do not use Darkslide to photograph or film anyone secretly or unlawfully.

4. Keep your own copies

The Vault, where Darkslide keeps your negatives, is stored on your iPhone and is deleted when you delete the app — unless you turned on iCloud sync. Photos and clips saved to your Photos library are not affected. Because we never receive your data, we cannot recover it for you, so keep backups of anything that matters to you.

5. Darkslide Pro

• What it is. A one-time in-app purchase — not a subscription — that unlocks the films marked Pro in the app. The price is shown in the App Store before you buy.
• Who sells it. Apple sells Darkslide Pro and handles payment, billing and receipts under the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
• Restoring. Use Settings › Darkslide Pro › Restore purchases in the app on any device signed in with the same Apple Account.
• Refunds. Only Apple can issue refunds. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
• Future films. We may add films in updates. New films may join Darkslide Pro or be offered separately; the app will say which before you pay for anything.

6. Changes to the app

We may update Darkslide to fix problems, improve it, or change its features. We will not take away a Pro film you have paid for unless the law or a third party's rights force us to; if that happens, we will try to offer a comparable film. Films you have unlocked are built into the app and work without an internet connection.

7. Fair use of the app

Do not copy, modify, reverse engineer or redistribute the app, get around the purchase of Darkslide Pro, or use the app to break the law — except where the law expressly allows you to.

8. Third-party services and components

iCloud sync and purchases are provided by Apple under Apple's terms. The date-stamp typefaces are DSEG by keshikan, used under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.

9. Warranty

We work hard to make Darkslide reliable, but to the extent the law allows, the app is provided “as is” and we do not promise that it will be free of errors or always available. This does not affect warranties or guarantees that the law of your country gives you and that cannot be excluded.

10. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data you did not back up, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for Darkslide Pro. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

11. Apple

These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for Darkslide or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it, and is not responsible for any claims about it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of the Apple EULA and may enforce it against you.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules; the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts there.

13. Changes to these terms

If these terms change, we will publish the new version on this page with a new effective date, and mention significant changes in the release notes of the next app update. Changes that are unfavourable to you are announced in advance, before they take effect. The terms in force when you bought Darkslide Pro continue to apply to that purchase, unless a change is required by law.

14. Languages

These terms are available in English, Korean, Japanese and Turkish. If the versions differ, the English version applies, unless the law of your country requires otherwise.
